Cats

Cats, cats, fluffy and sweet

Purring softly as they sleep

Curled up in a warm, cozy bed

Dreaming of mice, or so it's said

But when they're awake, oh what fun

They play and pounce, their work is never done

They chase and leap, they run and hide

Their energy never seems to subside

Some say they're independent, aloof and cool

But to their owners, they're loving, loyal and true

They bring us joy, they bring us cheer

Cats are a blessing, year after year

So here's to all the cats, big and small
