Ad Infinitum

From across the room, mapping out the landscape of your body, aesthetic wonder, contour, and form lines elevating orientation, a sorceress worthy of adoration

Hands in latitude, mouth outlining longitude with every laugh, creating a landmark with every look, you rise above all others as I catch your eye

Across the room, meandering in estuary and floodplain, pushing forward, guided by gravitational, magnetic force, I am drawn to you, cannot stop this stirring inside the beating of my heart

North, South, East, West, every dip, and curve surveyed, an accurate measure of this desire from across the room

About the Creator

cd ybarra

Cynthia is a living contradiction. She writes about trauma, childhood PTSD, recovery and politics. It may not sound like it but she is a lot of fun!

She identifies as Latina/x, and is a life long, card carrying lesbian.
