She was a sweet girl full of splendor.
Her hair was made from the finest spider silk and
Her skin was the texture of brown bricks.
It was what lied beneath the cracks that mattered most to me.
Her body was lined with rivers and forests hidden with gardens of wild lilies and forget-me-nots.
I've visited this garden many times before.
I've stroked the same blades of grass between the webs of my fingers.
I planted more lilies where my heart was broken and tomatoes were sprouting where loss used to burry.
I named that garden rock bottom.
I've visited this garden many times before.
Eventually, I made it into my own.
