Captivity of Me

Look forward to find what you are looking for…

By Xavier de la Cruz Published 4 years ago 1 min read

The similarities within our soul

And the eternal prospect

Of being alone—

Took me to the place

Where, I was the least known.

If only by visualizing the

End..

Can I sit, or stand within the

Confines of the values of life—

Brought to me by the

Death of captivity towards sadness

Depression.

He is here—I think

He’s not,

The attitude of my daze

Brings me voluntarily to him

But he’s not here

No one is—

Yes, he is, they are,

You are

The ethical footsteps left by

Society—makes you

Think they aren’t

Here.

Look forward,

Place your palm above

Cover the blinging lights—

Just igniting enough to show

Show you, present to you

In all vivid dreamscapes—

Your Audience.
