Cannibal Clowns Will Eat You

In the flicker of party lights dim and still,

Lurks a secret at the heart of Party Mill.

Cheerful balloons and bright painted skies,

But beware of the clowns with hunger in their eyes.

Their laughter rings, a melody so sweet,

But hides the darkness of what they’ll eat.

Faces painted with a jester’s delight,

Mask the hunger that grows by night.

Cotton candy clouds swirl in the air,

Carnival games call you—“If you dare.”

But behind the masks, sharp teeth gleam,

A nightmare born of a child’s dream.

They dance and they juggle, a mesmerizing tune,

But when the music stops under the glowing moon,

The clowns grow still, their grins stretched wide,

As you realize too late there’s nowhere to hide.

Party horns squeal, confetti rains down,

But silence follows, welcome to their town.

Their feast begins, no care for screams,

For at Party Mill, you're part of the theme.

Escape, you’d think, is an easy plan,

But they move too quick, faster than man.

So say your prayers if you hear their sound,

The cannibal clowns are coming ‘round.

A painted grin, a step, a bite.

The party ends before the night.

So beware the laughter, the games, the thrill,

And never step inside Party Mill.

You know I like clowns like Bozo the clown and the kinds that make you laugh out loud. Clowns as in the poem make me sad why are clowns portrayed this way it seems all the time now. Good job on the poem though.
