My heart for the world is made of stone,
To bite would be to crunch on bone.
For you, it was candy,
Homemade and flavored with orange blossom and brandy.
You can chew through me like a taste always known,
Your flavors are winter green and lemoncello, just like home.
The consistency can be guaranteed,
With the perfect texture of sandy.
Our love always shown,
Sweet never overgrown.

Candy Heart Recipe:
1/4 ounce gelatin
4 ounces Sprite
40 ounces powdered sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
Food coloring liquid and markers to write messages
Can add mint extract, ground fruit, or orange blossom/rose water for flavors
