Candle Light Flickers
Lighting up. My thoughts in a juggled head

CandleLight
In the soft glow of a candlelight’s embrace,
Shadows pass by gently, a flickering grace.
Did you know, that Humpty once sat on my wall,
Upon this same wall, lost in night it fell flat
Before his great tumble, he sat eating Wigan pies,
As summer’s warm breath sweet lullabies.
My mind, like a live wire, dances with fast pace,
Thoughts dart and escape, like night flys in a race.
Oh, how I love this dim light’s gentle glow,
For in daylight My, true feelings always show.
A symphony of classic music plays in the dark,
Where fantasies flourish, igniting a spark.
Chess pieces await in this game of the mind,
Each move a reflection of dreams and red wine
You can't strike a match if your heart’s feeling low,
In shadows we linger, where hidden lights grow.
And the chuckle I do when bald heads reflect light,
A glimmer of humor, the joy in a long night.
What was I saying? Oh yes, a song bird
A candle under metal, to cook, have you heard?
Eggs cook in the heat, like webs spiders have spun ,
randomness lives where the laughter's begun.
So here we roam through thoughts that sway,
In this whimsical dance, let’s cherish our play.
For in every flicker and shadow we always find,
And the whispers of dreams, beautifully intertwined.
keep this candle burning, let joy be free like a thought,
As reality fades from a thought to a dream at speed of nort

I've been writing poetry since the age of fourteen. With pen in hand, I wander through realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals hidden thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture your mind❤️
