Can't They See?

a family torn apart by one man

By Kadee GracePublished about a year ago 1 min read

can't they see

behind those eyes

the devil that lurks in there?

Can't they hear

the evilness there

it's in the laughter

are they so blind

so deaf and so dumb

that it's beyond their reach?

If a man is a man

than there is a man

ruthless and crude as he

he destroyed a home

a family of love

he stole all rights

there will be no more

laughter or fun

anger and hate fill our home

can we say now

that he has won

by splitting us all into?

Whoa, this one hits hard! That raw pain, the anger, and the chaos it describes—it’s intense! Feels like it’s pouring straight out of a broken heart. Heavy stuff but so well-written!

Wow! Your poem has raw emotions that many can relate to. A toxic person can destroy a home... No matter if it's a man or a woman... Your deep thoughts have grabbed my attention! Excellent, Kadee 🙌💖
