Caged
Looking for an open door
She's suffocating
Every wall seems to be closing in
Breaths coming in and out
In and out
Freedom
A longing she so desperately longs for
Looking for an open door
And something more than this darkness that won't seem to never go away
It weighs her down like a ton of bricks
One on top of each other
And more keeps coming
After another and another
Reluctant to let anyone in
Feigning for a love that she doesn't know how to give
Pillowcases drenched with tears every night
The mind filled with images of steel
And wanting to
Vanish
But she fights to persevere
Through the tears and the fears
She wants to stay here
To find the one thing she's been searching for all along
