Caffeine and Kisses

A Morning Brew of Love

By Tale WeaverPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

In the dawn's soft light, I see your face,

Half-awake, yet full of grace.

Your hair’s a mess, your eyes still bleary,

But to me, you’re never weary.

-------------------------------------------------

You shuffle to the kitchen slow,

With a yawn and sleepy glow.

Our morning ritual, oh so sweet,

Where caffeine and kisses always meet.

-------------------------------------------------

The coffee brews, its aroma divine,

A potion perfect, you and I combine.

Your sleepy smile, my heart it warms,

Even in your mismatched pajamas’ charms.

-------------------------------------------------

You mumble words, still half asleep,

A language only I can keep.

“Good morning,” you say, through a sleepy yawn,

As the golden sunlight begins to dawn.

-------------------------------------------------

Your kiss, a peck upon my cheek,

A love so strong, yet gentle and meek.

We share a cup, our morning brew,

In this moment, it’s just me and you.

-------------------------------------------------

Though mornings are not your best display,

Your love shines bright in its own way.

With each sip and every kiss,

You turn my morning into bliss.

-------------------------------------------------

So here’s to you, my sleepy dear,

With coffee and love, I hold you near.

In the world’s chaotic morning races,

I find peace in your sleepy embraces.

-------------------------------------------------

Caffeine and kisses, a morning delight,

With you by my side, everything’s right.

So let’s embrace the dawn together,

For in your love, I find my forever.
