face to sun o’re mountain peaks
steady
through valleys deep
ebb and flow
rush and slow
highest highs
lowest lows
regress
evolve
wilt
grow
joy through pain
drift then row
dangling in threads of death
resurrected
ere final breath
light
dark
give and take
bend
don’t break
yin and yang
About the Creator
Kristen Balyeat
Words fly to me on the wind, bump into me as I'm strolling the city, splash me in the face while I rest by the river, and shake me awake in the middle of the night—I’m humbly one of the vessels they use to come to life.
Also, i love you:)

Yes a crazy cycle of love… a back and forward, a balance. Love your poem.
Well-wrought! This evokes multiple cognate images. A fifty-word mandala!
Give and take, bend don't break, and yin and yang, I especially loved those lines!
It's a beautiful and somewhat chaotic dance, love and life. Well done, my friend.
I could feel my heart swelling with the ebb and flow of this poem, so lovely
Art. Art with purpose and wisdom. Just spectacular with your signature style stamped all over it. well done, Kristen!
Great poem Kristen! I love your description of the different states love can be in, and the rhymes you had in there (I'm a sucker for rhymes 😅)
And e'er the two shall dance together. I truly loved the ebb & flow of this, Kristen.
Yes, the ebb and flow, the dance of balance. Loved this so much, my friend :)
Ying and Yang, so you must know my wife and me? It works for us. I really enjoy the depth of this poem
