Butterfly Love
Humorous Poetry for the Love in 50 Words Challenge
Love is love, no matter how clumsily expressed. Michelle Liew

Butterfly
That flits, it's shy
It flaps, it twirls, tumbles,
It crashes into petals--ouch!
That hurts!
***********************************************
Flower,
Bright red and soft
Swaying, waiting, hoping
Love now lands, clumsy wings flapping
Still love.
***********************************************
Young bees,
Buzzing, busy,
See the butterfly's fall--
They giggle, hum a tune
Yet love blooms.

Well-wrought! The butterfly fluttering by and the bumbling bee are as close to love as anything else could ever be!
Awww, this was so cute! Loved your poem!
I LOVE this poem😍🙃… & the imagery of the butterfly, flowers and bees. Just this morning I was tempted to write one last Love in 50 poem using animals…
