One night came by,
I looked at the sky,
There was the moon,
White, bright, and affecting me like a loon,
I felt myself dozing off onto another land
Thought I'd have a simple dream, bit bland
I see myself in France
Amongst those who dance
I drink, tremble, party and kiss
I had nothing to miss,
Suddenly I fell asleep in my sleep
Then I woke up with a hangover so deep
I started running around, so light,
With no thoughts in mind,
“AHHHH!”, I hear a scream,
But this time it wasn’t another dream
I had a massive tattoo, a butterfly!
Placed on my back, tramp-stamp style
I saw the big tattoo,
I knew I had done something taboo,
I cried and called 911,
They came and had a conversation with me one on one,
“Doctor is my tattoo infected?”
“No dear, it's your decisions that are defected.”
“Please doc! Just remove it!”
“Dear, there’s no way but to accept it.”
Everything starts to shake around me
I fight back, I just want to flee
I get pulled from back through a door,
Which goes through another thousand more
I wake up again in my dream,
I’m alive and glowing like a beam
I see myself older, wiser, being thirty,
Feeling confident, beautiful and flirty
I had long black hair
Leather jacket, looking like an heir
I was at a bar, amongst my friends,
Speaking with others,
I see that I show the butterfly,
To a friend, not being shy,
Then older me, winks and looks me in the eye,
“Don’t worry, it’ll be your favorite thing in a flash of an eye”
