Agree to Disagree

By Amos GladePublished about a year ago Updated about a year ago 1 min read

I love you,

but

I don’t support the sins

I’ve been told are wrong.

You’ve broke no laws,

no moral code,

just conclusions I have drawn.

So let’s agree

to disagree

and I won’t test my fealty.

I love you,

but

let’s keep our space

and I’ll supply the limit.

Don’t be loud,

and don’t be proud,

with what my faith prohibits.

You’ll be okay,

if you change your way,

and do exactly as I say.

I love you,

but

I fail to comprehend

my friend

why you left

in the end.
