Buried Silence
Cries carried beyond dust and time
She walked without sound
Through fields left behind
The grass spoke of sorrow
The sky stayed blind
Each step was a whisper
Each breath was weight
The wind did not question
The soil held fate
Names forgotten in silence
No markers remain
Only earth remembers
Each soul, each pain
A child once humming
Now part of the clay
A mother once waiting
Now drifted away
The world didn’t notice
How quickly they went
Just homes turned to hollows
And prayers unspent
She bent without speaking
Lit no candle that day
Only left petals
Where memories lay
The sun kept its distance
The breeze stood still
The stones bore no letters
Yet the silence could kill
We walk on beside them
Though none can see
That grief plants its garden
Where names cease to be
They weren’t unfinished
Just quietly erased
As if time could unthread them
Without leaving a trace
