Bubbled

Hemmed in

By Salwa SamraPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

I’m Comfortable in my bubble

Safe keeping hems me in

Water tight, untouched

Feelings hidden

Edges circled in, secure

I need not know

I need not respond

Guarded from the outside

Keep me enveloped, compressed

It’s where I feel at home, unaffected

I swim in my invulnerable fortress

A fort structured inwardly, intact

Suddenly…the winds endeavour to intrude

The rain reigned heavy upon my surround

Curled, now, I’m crouching

My bubble envisions my abduction

Pop!

The world seized me

Capturing my freedom within

Where shall I crawl to withdrawn, again?

How shall I exit, exposed?

Feelings capture my thoughts to think

Thinking charms entrances of my sensitivities

Sensation traces, appealing to pursue, persuade

I am unveiled, naked, revealed

Influenced by life to live
