Dear Bearded Quill
Would that you will
I am
To you in debt
You’ll not regret
Bestow me gift
If you catch my drift
Of bardic grace
Without a trace
Of malice
From your chalice
Of words sublime
With reason
Rhyme
Or
To put it another way
Hit me with your rhythm stick
Your lyric

I enjoyed the way you put this piece together, Sir Raymond! 💜
Cool music!!! Your poetry is good too! 😊
Never thought I’d see Ian Drury and Shakespeare on the same page, but then again, why not? ❤️😉
Love it! I especially like how you break it up with the video and save the last two lines for afterwards. I'm always impressed too with final lines in a poem that are one or two words. It's like they slow down at the end to emphasize that final beat. ⚡💙 Bill ⚡
What a melodic and yet very poetic poem. Great work.
Stick made me think of something inappropriate, lol. Loved your poem!
