Broken Heart Shards
You held my heart in shuddering hands,
completely clear, fragile,
a magnum opus of delicacy.
However, it got past you,
broken against the difficult ground.

I watched, deadened, as it fell,
each piece a glint of our adoration,
a group of stars dispersed
in the residue of what used to be.
Was it an indiscreet slip?
Or then again did you project it down deliberately?

Fault whirled around us like a tempest,
what's more, you tracked down solace in the disorder,
while I was passed on to accumulate
the leftovers of us,
cutting my fingers on recollections.

If by some stroke of good luck, I had seen the signs,
the neon admonitions blazing above,
"Dispensable" stepped in blinding light,
eclipsing my delicate mark.

Had I not been so visually impaired,
had I confided in the murmurs of my stomach,
I would have followed the way
your bogus love painted,
what's more, halted you before the fall.

Your words were vacant,
a tongue of misleading,
an envelope bereft of significance,
a tape unspooled and quiet.
You wore your swagger like a cover,
an empty hero, an insane entertainer.

Presently I stand on a cliff of uncertainty,
contemplating whether I ought to argue for your return,
or on the other hand, let the universe determine our destiny.
You laugh at karma,
be that as it may, one day you'll feel its sting,
at the point when it serves you equity
in the best, most excruciating way.

To watch your façade disintegrate,
to see you dissolve,
would be the ointment to my wrecked heart,
the fitting retribution I desire.

If a breakup is hard , that means those 2 are bonded to their souls.
A breakup is hard indeed, many have difficulties coping with it unfortunately...
