The famous faux pas. Everyone makes one, and baulks afterwards. Of course, it leaves one at the height of discomfort.
We do what humans do - make a myriad of mistakes. Admittedly, we can't avoid them, but we can make up for them with sincere apologies. We try to learn from these errors and move forward.
And so, I present a veggie that's a little messy but an apt description of faux pas - red beets. Enjoy these simple haikus.
Reddish vegetable
Red color runs when it's cut
Crimson color stays
Bright red produce
Crimson color cannot change
But soft on palate
Crimson vegetable
Though the bright red color seeps
Delicious salad.
