I dug a dark abyss around me,
for which the colors that drew me
dropped
like a waterfall:
My body is the rainbow spiraling
on the waters below,
while on top I remain,
lonely, hidden
in my now invisible mind.
Across the abyss there is, like me,
another dark summit,
whose colors also fell
to the waters below.
where our rainbowed bodies now dance,
spiraling together,
without invisible minds that fight
to reach for the top.
Our bodies don't care for the top,
but they swim in the darkness to form
a bridge for our stranded minds.
Colors are the only bridge.
Without them there's only thoughts,
disconnected,
dissociated,
dark, lingering thoughts without form.
