Break her

Gave it your all

By Karen WyattPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

The abuse;

You blocked the door for what felt like forever.

Her screams only seemed to excite you.

Her short breath with your arms over her chest, as well as her smothered six month fetus didn’t seem to faze you.

The chase gave you a thrill as she tried to walk away but your grip got her into your car.

100mph gave you a rush.

The manipulation;

You got off on making her believe it was her fault.

The isolation from her family and friends for months at a time put you in charge.

The surveillance on her phone and being timed when away from you gave you the power.

The mental abuse seemed to make you sane.

You should have broke her, you gave it your all.

4 years later she no longer feels that weight on her chest.

She doesn’t feel trapped.

She owns the mistakes she makes but knows when to call out someone for theirs.

She gets to see her friends and family without hesitation or time limit.

She now has freedom and a voice.
