Boxes

Restricting

Boxes, closed, cramped, forced

Suffocating, stuck, removed and forgotten

Beating, slamming, stretching, kicking

Release, freedom, desire, safety

Scratching, dragging, pounding

Alas, a scrape

On the hand fighting to escape

Blood slips, drops, begins to rush

Boxes, crates, finite, inescapable

Begin to fill

Rushing, crimson, rising, claiming

Banging, fighting, yelling, pleading

To the waist, the neck, the face, the top

Struggling, sinking, screaming, gone

Scarlet, maroon, fills, conceals

Nothing but red nothing but silence

Boxes, dripping, leaking, quiet

Wonderful poem! I liked Rushing, crimson, rising, claiming, very descriptive of the situation! Great work!
