She had long wavy purple hair,
that was bouncy, just like her attitude.
Her fingernails were chipped, with fading polish and aspirations,
she played with her ripped hippie jeans.
There was always a song ringing in her head, this made her shoulders dance,
and she lounged wherever she went.
Laying in the tall goldenrod blooms she’d hum,
and daydream of being a spider.
Imagining her adroit legs spinning a bug,
she lived and breathed with a playful mind.
On this particular day,
she lounged in a hospital gown,
“You’re going to have a baby,”
the doctor waved his hand in front of her face,
waking her up from another daydream.
“Oh,” she fidgeted and pretended to tickle her own stomach.

Love how she’s just enjoying through life, even in a hospital gown. I fully support her lounging lifestyle.✨
well written, so beautiful
The angles through which you see things are beautiful.
