Born of the Dark
A Journey of Light Found in Shadow

I walked where shadows made their claim,
A path unnamed, a world untamed.
No sun to guide, no silver thread,
Just echoes of the things I fled.
Yet in that hush, a bloom began,
A quiet truth the light can't plan—
That even in the coldest shade,
A soul can rise, unscarred, remade.
The stars are braver than the day,
They show their face when light's away.
And I, like them, found ways to gleam,
Within the wreckage of a dream.
The dark taught me to hear the rain,
To sit with sorrow, not disdain.
To hold the ache and still breathe deep,
To cradle hope when none could sleep.
Now dawn may kiss the morning hills,
But I have known the night’s still thrills—
Its hidden grace, its sacred art:
To build a lantern in the heart.

Captivating poem and well written.
Life never sets a uniform answer. Walking your own path is the most down-to-earth kind. Living as oneself is the most precious clarity in one's life.
