{In the great blue room

I gaze heavenward

the dome is speckled with

swathes of linen

swaddling a bright ageless

blaze of effervescence gushing forth eternal

renewal

of life

the midrange verdant

also life and yet death

a living cyclical grave march

but today living rather than marching

and so I am swaddled

in the boughs the limbs of the midrange

so I gaze toward the clay

this dome is speckled too

blue in blue

blue below blue

and within just as I am

this life must gaze

heavenward}
