Blue Baby's Breath and Pink Roses
For the little ones Who Have Been Hurt at Home
I think of all the flowers
I love the very best
blue baby's breath and pink roses
they top all the rest
For me, they are a symbol
to hold dear in my heart
their specialty to me
sets them so apart
for the blue in baby's breath
are for the little boys
these are the ones
who never had many joys
The pink in the sweet roses
are for the little girls
for if they had some
they'd wear them in their curls
So next time you search for beauty
to fill up your lovely home
please think about these colors
for the children who are alone
...to the little ones who are not as fortunate as others, and to the children who have been hurt inside their homes.
