Blue

I’ve dreamt of vibrancy my whole life,

I wanted to feel as vibrant as the vibrations surrounding me

the sensations of feeling free without strife,

I wanted the world to shine beneath me with every step I took,

Yet not every path is so easy to find,

I wanted my path to feel yellow,

the color as bright as the frequency in which surrounds it,

yet the only constant color that accompanies me like air

is the color blue,

the vibrancies of its comfort,

sprouted from such a dark place,

It has always felt as if it's the comfort I deserve to give myself,

yet while comforting the blue,

we are watering our sorrows

leaving little to no room for us to water our hopes.
