Blooms

Love’s Awakening

By Erin PerezPublished about a year ago 1 min read

In the quiet of dawn’s first light,

He stands at the edge of my night,

A spark ignites, so fierce and bright,

Awakening dreams long out of sight.

Each glance, a universe unspun,

New emotions like the rising sun,

Exciting whispers, soft and bold,

Yet fear and wonder intertwine, unfold.

The love that blooms, so fresh, unknown,

A tender seed that's newly sown,

It dances on the edge of fear,

Both thrilling and daunting, crystal clear.

It beckons me with every touch,

This feeling that I've missed so much,

A thrilling ride through uncharted space,

With every beat, my heart’s own race.

I yearn to hold this fragile bloom,

And chase away the darkened gloom,

To let these feelings rise and soar,

And see the end not as before.

So here’s my vow, my trembling plea,

To let this love set us both free,

To turn the page and start anew,

And make this ending something true.
