The lunar eclipse was at 3:14 AM this morning.
I set my alarm to watch it.
You did too, apparently.
You posted a story.
From your new balcony.
The one I'll never see.
For seven minutes, the moon disappeared completely.
Swallowed by Earth's shadow.
Then it came back, tinted blood red.
They call it a "Blood Moon."
Funny. When you left, I disappeared too.
But unlike the moon, I didn't come back red.
I just came back smaller.
Less bright.
An eclipsed version of myself
that nobody sets alarms to watch.
