Blissful Welcome Of The First Frost
Frosted Verse- Vocal Media Challenge

Winter kisses my rosy cheeks,
Frost clings to my lashes, turning them into icy peaks.
Crisp glacial air,
Tickles my nose, wraps my lungs in a snare.
Gliding gently down to my warm beating heart,
Jolting it with a frigid dart.
A polar invasion that is not unwelcomed.
My dark chocolate orbs,
Travels around, and fully absorbs.
The shimmering white trees,
Attired in a pale blue deep freeze.
Pure winter diamonds reflect,
Their crystallized tiny specks.
Momentarily blinding me.
Stepping into the vast,
Misty white mass,
Music of crunching snow,
Underfoot, sharp as the snapping of a branch from a running doe.
Reaches my pink knit covered ears,
My cherry lips spreads with a smile of good cheer.
Reaching out my goose down covered arms to this frozen land.
Childhood bliss sparkles through me,
A joyful hello to the season’s first frost!

This poem creates a great picture of a winter wonderland. Beautifully Done!!
The imagery is so well done here! Good luck in this challenge.
Very well written.
This poem paints a vivid picture of a winter wonderland, evoking a sense of both warmth and chill. The imagery is striking, from the "icy peaks" of frost-kissed lashes to the "shimmering white trees." The poet's joy and appreciation for the season are palpable, making it a truly delightful read. The final lines, "A joyful hello to the season's first frost!" encapsulate the spirit of the poem perfectly.
I really like this one and I wish where I live the first frost would appear, but first it must get past the fifties and above and go the other way.
Oh, this is wonderful. Really wonderful. Love the descriptions and the way the change in season can have a deep impact on us! Well done, Daphsam.
