Bleeding on a page…

A poem for when love wins

By Kenneth cruzPublished 12 months ago 1 min read

I had to pull out my pen for this—

Stab myself and bleed onto the page,

Show my soul raw and undone,

So the world knows love won.

Unraveled, I scream, “Fuck shame!”

A soliloquy straight from the brain.

If I’m posting love poems again,

You already know—something insides changed.

Good that blood is renewed, that you can keep on writing, because this is intense and beautiful.

  • Oh wow, so dark and intense! I love it!

Bleeding onto the page, what's love got to do with it and all that jazz.

Very poetically dark for sure, I will share this in one of the Facebook dark poetry group.

  • Great image to match your words, we all bleed onto our pages at times
