Lover’s Roulette

A 50 Word Poem About Love

By Kenneth cruzPublished 12 months ago Updated 12 months ago 1 min read

I love you.

“Click,” “spin.”

I love you more.

“Click,” “spin.”

Heart racing,

Playing Russian roulette without a gun—

Hugs and kisses instead of bullets.

Still, the fear feels just as real.

“For how long?”

“Click, spin,”

Her question, aiming to seal the deal.

“Forever yours,” I say.

Bang—I’m done.
