A flaming sky
burns the edges of
my consciousness
re-shaping, escaping
ordinary hues
melting rigid scars
into shimmering
feathered lines
across my heart
simply ornate
intricately plain
I believe You are
I guess that's faith
I know my happyness waits
I guess that's hope
I know Your sacrifice
I guess that's love
the colors build
on colors built
I am nothing
a vapor on the wind
a blink in time
my eyes spill
as I stand alone
in the least of me
seeing
what you have
painted for me
a blaze of Glory.

“For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known. And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.”
