A Phoenix Burns Hot

Offerings in the wild whipping westerly wind,

Sweeping silently solemnly, somewhere

The past presented precisely, precariously

Left behind by burning brightly, blatantly, boldly

The messenger of traumas, tribulations, tirelessly

Evokes manic memories, meticulously, methodically

While finally processed, through a bright burning bird

The scars of yesterday, burned away,

Ashes of mind, melting madly, making molds

A strong resilient future forged, furiously, reverently

Death of the Phoenix comes to a predictable end

But with a twist of metaphysical madness and mayhem

Residual soot is the suit of surprise

No more Phoenix no more cries

Up in smoke with scattered ashes

The blackened, bricks behold a blind bias

Traumas are over, the silence is blackened, battered and beaten

No more traumas to rise,

The blackened silence of soot, the Phoenix final surprise.
