Black on Black
she will not look back as she's heading into the dark

She’s heading into the night
Black on black
She doesn’t turn back
Not a wave
To say goodbye
A tear forms on my lip
I flee from the scene
She will not look back
as she heads down into the night
I don’t run after
I do not protest
The tears fall
I don’t wipe them
I quicken my pace
Away from the fact that
She’s heading into the night
Black on black
And she made herself deaf and mute
To block out her pain
There’s nothing for me to do
Besides beg to the creator of night
To watch that wandering soul
That’s heading into the night...
