Birthmark

No couple ever chose me

Maybe because I was marked

Maybe because they thouthat

if someone marked something,

they would come to it one day

They told me that

my parents had left me

But I didn't believe

Why should you mark someone

and then abandon them?!

My parents must have always

been worried that

 I would be lost,

That's why they marked me

When I grew up, I realized

It wasn't my parents who had marked me

This was God who had marked me

As if God knew I am going

to be lost in this world

God didn't find me when

I was in the orphanage

Will he find me now that

I'm in the nursing home?!

heartbreak
