Birds Of A Feather
And A Lover’s Transformation
By Kelli Sheckler-AmsdenPublished about a year ago • 1 min read

I saw her
Dancing in the moonlight
I saw her
Howling to her love
I saw her
Surrender to the midnight
I saw her
Flying up above
I saw her
Mimic wings like ravens
I saw her
Freely take the sky
I saw her
Spirit joining heaven
I saw the
Human in her die
I saw her
Circling her lover
I saw her
Join him neath the stars
I saw her
Basking under cover
I saw her
Offer him her scars
I saw her
Last night, for the last time
I saw her
Give her life away
I saw her
Becoming intertwined
I saw her
Never more that day
