Your beauty protruding
Balancing

Small arrowhead
Enticing

Without a heart
Below your curved lines
Raindrops

Like clear dots
On freckled face
Ask for me I

Drew thee mistaken
Failing to forget
Curved lines

The way you were true
As were my blinking eyes
I came for you

Under a wink
I craved anew
Bindweed

Whisper sweet things
Until I held hands with stress
You zen

I see you
Giver of all

Of morning beauty instead of you
And you die like the season

Bindweed
Wither away like you never were

A/N: This poem went through a lot of editing but along the way I learnt that this flower is not morning glory. I followed a drawing video on YouTube, but the leaf in my drawing is wrong. In breaking news, rehabilitated Republican Senator Johnnie Johnson (Pronouns: HE, HIM, HIS) called a press conference from the Men’s room of the New Orleans Louis Armstrong International Airport, Concourse B, across from the Ignatius Reilly’s Lucky Dog stand. The Senator had just returned from a sexual reorientation rehabilitation program in Memphis, TN after being publically disgraced at a Buckee’s Truckstop restroom soliciting sex from an undercover cop three months ago. He is a founding member of the Reformed Christians for Christ, a conservative, pro-family and ex-gay advocacy group. In the spirit of being reborn, Senator Johnson invited reporters to marvel at his plans for a major remodeling of airport bathrooms.

That flower looks like a hybrid of morning glory and hibiscus. You captured it's beauty perfectly and your drawing is soooo nice! Loved your poem as well!
