and degrees

of the pretty flower’s ebb and tease.

Practical protein source,

over the course,

and through the “coulds,”

from early morning flower,

to exploding power!

Glorious bloomers,

for feeding,

and interceding,

for the younger bees are ever-needing.

Six weeks of buzzing vigor,

reminded that life is utterly short,

so it’s best to be a jolly good sport,

and it’s best to not waste it and bicker!

They are in the honey-making business!

If two queens are born around the same time,

there is bound to be a vicious fight of clashing wings to the sticky death…

the survivor becomes queen by default.

I like the idea of bees fighting a sticky honey soaked battle. Sweet and vicious

Love the little pollinators! And did ya know that the workers can create an emergency queen if they are queenless? A rags to riches bee story 😍
