The sky, misty and beyond grey
Occasional rain cleansing my skin
Only for the sudden sunshine to peek
Forging my footsteps in another area
Into the forest of calm
Paranoia sets, then quickly fades
Step by step, open air surrounds
All that encompasses the space
A beautiful denial, a perfect moment
Ninety seconds of catatonia
Eyes toward the baby blue sky
Collecting the data of multiple actions
Then erasing them from my brain
The unknown figures of the past
I want eliminated from what happened last
The symptom conceptualized as a distraction
Can only be treated by a moment of silence
After the ungodly hour of cuddling
And my small prayer ceasing unrest
My soul bears no guilt, only peace
But all that is beautiful and fickle
Have been treated with love, dignity and respect.
