When the smoke clears
The revelers find their slow ways home to lives
that are their own
When the battles are won
And the bets are off
The victors have been chosen
The parades have passed
The laughter
Emotions
Heights
Lows and pains
Somewhere a piano plays
Music is remembered
As the all sensory harmony
That lends credibility and pleasure
To daily lives
After the shows
And the parades
Revelries and
smash hit
epics and crusades
comes the day by days
The one hit wonders replaced
By the extraordinary and stable
by lullabies
and bedtime stories
After all the parades
the restructurings
the bull, the entertainments
and triumphs
comes a life
That is worthwhile.
