Between an Artist and a Scientist

Somewhere Between Here and There

Juggling multiple layers every day,

leaving trails in my wake.

Time to retrace my steps,

and view it all anew.

A fresh perspective awaits.

Inspiration flows

from artist to scientist .

My benevolence attributed to my male character,

going his own way, unsure of himself.

Will he ever be?

He dwells in a world of his own making,

haunted by past battles, shadows unresolved.

His ego subtly erased

lies hidden in his psyche's depths.

When it surfaces,

conscious analysis begins,

a familiar path unfolds.

Drawn from a real past,

into a future fraught with dread,

new shapes contend,

struggling for position in this endless race.

A race where no one wins,

between head and heart,

useless command.

If your male character is how you see me, I have to say that you've nailed it pretty much spot on. If not, I will simply say that I can relate.
