even after all I've/we've been through - the blood, sweat, tears, pain, betrayal, sorrow and regrets
cold realities, hard truths and uncomfortable admissions of guilt
love tarnished, tainted and tattered, bonds beaten, bruised and broken
I still have hope
perhaps things will never be as they once were, perhaps that's a good thing
stars shine and die, the moon hides the sun for but a moment, love may lessen but can also blossom
ends usher new beginnings and with hope and love, nothing is ever truly lost

WOW! Amazing work Paul!!
I loved this poem, Paul! It stretches from the cosmic to the quantum, covers eons and still lingers in the moment, and finds in the universal hope for the personal. Translation: it’s a bridge to hope and renewal. Really excellent, moving work!
The eclipse of a new beginning and hope
Just lovely. Nicely optimistic as an eclipse should be.
