Being Right

In the quiet dawn, where thoughts take flight,

To stand my ground, I find I'm right.

A beacon in the fog, my mind is clear,

Truth shines bright, dispelling fear.

With steady heart and sharpened mind,

I walk the path, no doubts to find.

In shadows deep, where others stray,

My inner compass lights the way.

The lessons learned, the wisdom sought,

Through trials faced and battles fought,

I hold the line, unyielding, strong,

In every word, in every deed,

Being right is all I need.

I totally agree with you. As long as I know in my heart that I'm right, I can look at others and only wonder what makes their minds work. I guess for me, it's inner satisfaction.
