Before Sunrise

You packed your things and waited for morning

to start the long drive back home and

away from the life we made,

but you stood there in front

of me on your last

night and asked me

what was wrong;

was I

ok?

    Asking if they were okay or not is wasting time on their long-awaited journey. 😊
