Who told you that you’re ugly?

face too pudgy

Ears so big

Why does the internet get to decide

The beauty you carry inside?

My body is fat

You’re too skinny

Who set the standard of beauty?

Depressed and rough

Society says I’m not good enough

Thoughts of suicide

My body should hide

Don’t believe this trash

You’re beautiful

Social media superficial

Look in the mirror

The depth of your soul

Never let anyone say you look like a troll

We’re all unique

We don’t look the same

Stop playing this world’s cruel game

See yourself with adoration

There’s only ONE of you in this generation!

Beauty pours out like a river

Did you ever consider

You are beautiful just the way you are?

Society will always raise the bar

Impossible standards

Delusions of grandeur

You will never win

You’re already gorgeous within

Let your light shine bright

Accept that you’re beautiful

And stop this impossible fight

Who told you that you’re ugly?

inspirational
