Bean Counter
For DK's Keep it 100 Challenge
Counting out jelly beans
Reds, Blues, Purples, Greens
A prismatic plethora of tasty treats
Gotta love these colorful sweets
Each time I count the total drops
Now one hundred little plops
One for you, two for me
Suck it up and let it be
Tuck another in my cheek
Now it's red for which I seek
Every color something unique
Enjoy them all without a pique
Green for nature, plants, trees
Blue for waves on pounding seas
Purple for haze on foggy morn
Black for midnight, dawn not born
Still, red my favorite, truth be told
Blood and roses, blooms unfold
With them I could paint a mosaic
Wouldn't that be prosaic?
But I'd only eat the art
Toss a new bag in the cart

Very cute ✅. I will have to challenge Dharrsheena for the reds & leave the rest for everyone else 🤣.
I want all the reds please, hehehehehe. Loved your poem!
Well this is a polar opposite vibe from your micro! I see you’ve got range! Loved all the vivid sensory details and the lyrical flow with the rhyme! Thank you so much for entering it in the challenge!
