Beach Day

The weather was absolutely perfect; the sun marveled at the sight of us lying in the golden sand.

The waves crashed and the stars danced on the surface, glistening with purpose.

We sat there listening to the laughs of children as they splashed one another. the ocean was my favorite place.

I contemplated the moment and looked into your eyes, you smiled wide like the horizon; oh how I love your face.

I loved your eyes and your smile, and the way you looked at me left me hypnotized while we sat there in silence.

you wrapped your arms around me and we watched the sunset. the orange hues against the bluest blues...

Felt like poetry and I listened to the sound of your touch as it recited words that were unsaid.
