Beach Day

Witness

the grain of sand squished between the creases of my toes

as I glide along the sunlit shore

The ebony of dusk

still stained upon my lips

as a succulent farewell kiss

Sculptures of yachts

in the hue of the distant sky ,

revitalize my feeling of flow

Shadows of seagulls reflecting the sun's rays ,

reassures my spirit to fly

Interconnection

found at the edge of the lighthouse

reminding me for there is kindness wherever you may seek

Rhythmic waves dance along the land ,

welcoming in a grandeur of commemoration

A family of ducklings play follow the leader

just as I once did whilst feeling carefree

Blessed

by the sound of the whispering winds ,

easing the pleasure of my imagination

Graciously

still at the presence of the day

What may this gift further unfold

Unwavering

strides to embosom this virtue of beauty

Spellbinding enchantment

of the crystal scenery ,

transforming my oasis into odyssey

Tender patience

offered by mother nature

empowered me

to grant myself the same favor

Glistening luster from the alluring pier ,

oversees my crave for nourishment

Attuned by the roar of seethe just ahead ,

I commence

with my lesson from the day I just had

How scrumptious

it is for delight to be at hand

I'm eager

to take a bite out of the fruit of life
