Be Careful What You Wish For

Poppy’s September Challenge

By Kelli Sheckler-AmsdenPublished about a year ago 1 min read

Across her broken heart

The love she knew savagely torn

Tearing her world apart

She lit the candle and cast the spell

The crow called out its warning

The ace of spades predicted hell

They found him lifeless the next morning
